Kirstyn Lamb (prev. McMullan) is an interdisciplinary artist currently exploring the concept of biomaterial and religious relics. Formally trained in art school specialized in oil on canvas, later with a masters degree in photography and creative studies, now sculpture, 3d renders and installations.

Her written research topic is on oracle traditions and saint relics of pre-Christian sacred sites across Malta and Italy. Exploring that in sculptural form of 'Future relics artifacts' she  merges foraged biomaterials—algae, bacterial cellulose, moss, crushed shells with electronic interface to form a living oracle reminiscent of statues of saint relics from pilgrimages or temple guardians with a ode to spiritual guidance through an AI interface.

After a decade in Berlin, she recently relocated to coastal Norway with her partner, dog, and young child. She is currently foraging, casting, and recording the fjord and forest. Artwork:  www.kirstynlamb.com & writing published at www.neuehauspress.com
